COURSES
As a PADI Diving Center we
offer the full range of PADI Courses, from beginner up to instructor,
from shallow to deep, for young to less young, from novice to specialist
in different areas. PADI is a world-wide recognized training agency, so
upon completion of your course you’ll get a license which will allow you
to dive anywhere in the world.

If
you have never dived before and would like an introduction to the basics
of scuba diving and the underwater world, before beginning an Open Water
Course straight away, we offer intro dives from the beach or from the
boat. These intro’s can also be done by people who just want to take a
look under water and let the instructor do the work for them. It’s a fun
and easy way to see the underwater environment or to see if diving is
your thing.
For the kids from the age of 8, PADI offers a special Bubblemaker
program. (see below) Twice a week there’s also a try-dive session in the
swimming pool for free.
We provide all our diving courses in the following languages: English, Dutch, German, French

Furthermore we take care to keep the
groups small and the atmosphere easy-going.Our classrooms are equipped
with air-con for the hot summer months, TV, video and all the teaching
materials are available in the different languages.

The diving equipment we use is well
maintained to keep it in a proper state.
We offer special rates for instructors who bring their own students and
they can also make use of the diving center facilities to give their
courses.

BUBBLEMAKER
If you’re 8 or 9 years old and want to take a look underwater without
having to hold your breath all the time, there is the Bubblemaker
program for you. You will get a set of equipment and go under water,
accompanied by an instructor, from the beach or swimming pool.
Afterwards we’ll give you a wall certificate, a bag, a tattoo, a
sticker...
Prerequisites:
- min. 8 years

DISCOVER
SCUBA DIVING (Intro: 2 dives)
We will start with a thorough explanation about being under water. After
this we make the dive, which starts by teaching you how to use your
scuba equipment in shallow water and letting you get accustomed to the
new environment. We conduct this program at a time convenient for
you and we’ll go from the beach or the boat.

PADI (Junior) SCUBA DIVER
| This pre-entry level course
is perfect for people having only one week holiday and who plan to do
other things outside diving. It is a quick and easy program which is
perfect if you only want to dive a couple of times a year. With the
Scuba Diver certification you can dive afterwards everywhere in the
world under the supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor
or Instructor. In this way you will explore the underwater world with
the comfort and safety of having an experienced guide with you all the
time. During 2 days, you will get some theory including videos, you will learn some skills in the swimming pool or from the beach and you will make 2 dives in the open water. Prerequisites: - min. (10) 15 years Maximum depth: - 12 meters Duration: - 2 - 3 days |

PADI (Junior) OPEN WATER COURSE
| Upon completion of this entry-level course you will receive a PADI Open
Water Diver license which is recognized in every diving center and
allows you to go diving all over the world. The course normally takes 4
days, in which you will go through 5 academic lessons and 5 confined
water sessions during the first 2 days. The 4 open water training
dives will be made on the final 2 days. Knowledge of basic diving theory
is covered by video, manual and instructor presentations. Diving skills
are developed in the swimming pool or in the confined water from the
beach. During the open water dives you will get the opportunity to apply
the knowledge and skills you learned before, always together with your

Referral Courses

The referral Course is meant for those who are certified as Scuba Divers
and want to upgrade to Open Water Diver, or for those who have completed
their theory and confined water in one place, but want to do their open
water dives in the Red Sea, or for those who want to finish their
course. What exactly you will need to do, to complete the Open Water
course, depends on the type of referral you have. You can contact us for
more details and information. |
Private Open Water Course
During 4 days you will have a private instructor who, in this way, will
give you all the attention and time you need to complete the course.
PADI (Junior) ADVENTURE DIVER
This experience consists of
any 3 dives, which you may choose from the list of advanced dives. Ideal
for people who want to do or see something special, like a dive to a
wreck or a night dive. The dives will be made under guidance of an
instructor who will show and teach you a couple of new things.
Prerequisites:
- min. (12) 15 years
- having an entry-level diving certification from any organization
Duration:
- 1 day
PADI (Junior) ADVANCED OPEN WATER
COURSE
This course focuses on expanding your diving skills during an organized
and supervised experience which takes 2 days minimum. You will complete
5 dives of which there is a mandatory deep and a navigation dive to do +
3 more dives of your choice. The most popular dives are: drift, wreck,
night, photo, scooter and naturalist. There is some reading to do and
you will get some extended pre-dive briefings but there are no classroom
sessions. The Advanced Course can also be done during live aboards.

Maximum depth:
- (21) 30 meters
Duration:
- 2 - 3 days
PADI SPECIALTY DIVER COURSES
These courses are designed
to further your knowledge and skills in specific diving activities which
interest you. You will get hands on practice and some theory sessions.
All specialties can be done either as a complete course or dive by dive.
The dives you did during your PADI Advanced course can be counted as the
first dive of the related specialty.

PADI E.F.R. (Emergency First
Response)
During this course you will get basic training in CPR and First Aid
procedures, which you will after be able to use in any incident. There
is a video to watch, we'll do some practical sessions and apply the
learnt techniques in scenarios. The course is based on current medical
guidelines within the US and UK and is subject to changes. The course
meets the requirements to enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver, Divemaster,
Assistant Instructor and Instructor as well as in the Dan Oxygen
Provider course.

Duration:
- one day or 2 half days
DAN OXYGEN PROVIDER COURSE
This course is designed to give students the necessary basic training to
administer oxygen to victims of diving accidents. When combined with the
Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response courses it provides the best
preparation to react correctly to any diving related accident.
Prerequisites:
- Have training in CPR and Fist Aid. (The PADI E.F.R. course meets this
requirement)
- Recommended: min. 12 years
Duration:
- 1 day
PADI (Junior) RESCUE DIVER COURSE
The
Rescue Diver course is designed to develop and expand your knowledge of
your own and other divers safety.
The Dan Oxygen Provider Course is recommended in conjunction with the
course to give you a better understanding on how to correctly apply
oxygen in an emergency.
Prerequisites:
- min. (12) 15 years
Duration:
- 3 - 4 days
PADI (Junior) MASTER SCUBA DIVER
Master Scuba Diver is the highest rating you can get as a recreational,
non-professional diver. To reach this level you have to be an Advanced
Diver and Rescue Diver with 5 PADI specialties.
Prerequisites:
- min. (12) 15 years
SCUBA REVIEW
Scuba Review consists of repeating the basic diving theory and a
supervised confined water session with a PADI Instructor who will help
you tune up important diving skills such as buoyancy control, breathing
from an alternate air source, equipment assembly... Afterwards you can
decide to take an optional supervised open water dive to get
reacquainted with the underwater world.

- be a certified diver
Duration:
- App. 2 hours
PADI DIVEMASTER COURSE
The Divemaster rating is the first step on the professional career path.
The course is designed to elaborate your diving knowledge and skills to
a professional level. It will enable you to guide certified divers and
assist with any training activities conducted by a PADI instructor.
The course includes academic knowledge development on 12 topics. You
will learn this theory partly by self study and partly through
instructor presentations. There is an exam on 8 topics. We advise you to
get the Divemaster manual, Encyclopedia and Knowledge Workbook before
you start the course. This allows you to begin studying and to prepare
at your own pace.
There are also some watermanship requirements to fulfill, like a 400m
swim, 800m snorkel swim, 15 min. tread and a 100m tired diver tow. We
will asses your rescue skills and look how you manage a stressful
situation. You will learn how to make underwater maps and develop your
knowledge on being a dive guide by going through all the aspects of the
job. Another thing we will teach you is how to assist with student
divers in training. This will enable you to actively take part during
the courses, conducted by your instructor.
As a Divemaster you can enroll in the PADI E.F.R. Instructor course.
Prerequisites:
- proof of 20 logged dives (to obtain certification, a total of 60
logged dives is needed)
- min. 18 years
- medical statement not older than 12 months, signed by a physician
Duration:
- min. 10 - 12 days (also possible as a internship)
PADI ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR COURSE
This course is the following step on the professional career path. We
will show you how to teach and we will keep your diving knowledge and
skills at professional level. After the course you will be able to
assist a PADI instructor with all training activities. Further more you
will be allowed to independently teach and certify non-diving
specialties and conduct Bubblemaker and Discover Scuba programs and the
Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course. Under the indirect
supervision of an instructor, you may give academic elaborations for any
PADI course.
During the course you will assist in 3 PADI certification courses in a
way similar to the Divemaster course. Further more you will go through
the same subjects and assignments as during the Instructor Development
Course. Many people choose to take this course as a preparation for the
IDC.
To obtain the certification, you will need to successfully complete the
5 subjects theory exam and a Standards and Procedures exam at the end of
the course.

- be a PADI Divemaster
- min. 18 years
- proof of 60 logged dives
- medical statement not older than 12 months, signed by a physician
Duration:
- 5 days minimum
